Description: The course for Bike & Brews is a challenging 8.6-mile loop with 1,800 elevation gain in the hills near Leavenworth. The loop includes four creek crossings, a challenging single track, and plenty of water bars. The event almost always sells out at 400 registrants. Beer garden and music and camping complete the experience. In 2016, Bike & Brews will be celebrating its 19th year.
Views and features: This course is one of the most scenic anywhere in the Northwest. Wildflowers and wide views are the attraction in the upper sections, while the green of the valley floor is the thing down below. In many ways, this is a race that defines the east slopes of the Cascades.
