Highlights: The Lt. Michael Adams Tubing Park at Leavenworth Ski Hill is a total blast for young and old alike. With provided tubes, a rope tow and a sit-and-slide philosophy, snow tubing at the Ski Hill requires no equipment of your own and no high level of physical fitness to have a great time in the snow. The hill provides 100 vertical feet of sliding fun. The park is named in honor of Michael Adams, a West Point graduate who was killed in 2004 while serving in Iraq.
Lowlights: Personal tubes and sleds are not allowed in the Lt. Michael Adams Tubing Park.
Things to know: Tubing pass is required and can be purchased at the Ski Hill ticket office. A signed release form is also required, which can be downloaded in advance via the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club website at http://www.skileavenworth.com/. Food and beverages, accompanied by a warm fire, are available in the historic Ski Hill Lodge.
