How to get there: Heading west from Wenatchee on Highway 2, drive into the town of Leavenworth. At the far edge of town, turn left onto Icicle Creek Road. Follow Icicle Creek Road for 0.4 miles; the Leavenworth Golf Course entrance will be on your left. The golf course street address is 9101 Icicle Road, Leavenworth.

Highlights: The Leavenworth Golf Course offers moderately challenging terrain with undulating hills for intermediate and physically fit cross-country and skate skiers. The groomed trails deliver spectacular views of the Cascades as well as the Wenatchee River down below.

Lowlights: The Leavenworth Golf Course ski trails may frustrate beginning skate and Nordic skiers, as well as those not in good physical shape. The hilly terrain is not for the faint of heart.

Things to know: Nordic Trail pass is required. You can buy trail passes at the golf course ticket office. A drop box for trail fees is located at the trailhead if you ski outside of ticket office hours. Ski equipment rental can be found at local retailers in Leavenworth and Wenatchee.
