Mountain Biking

From valley floor to the crest — and back

The Wenatchee Valley — smack against the foothills of the North Cascades — boasts some of the best mountain biking trails in the state of Washington, bar none. This mecca serves up single-track, dirt trails and gravel fire roads of varying lengths, offering something for nearly everyone.

In a matter of minutes from leaving downtown Wenatchee, you can be riding the rolling trails of Sage Hills or the Horse Lake Reserve. Or venture a little further from town to experience the adrenaline rush of the single-track at legendary Devil’s Gulch outside of Cashmere or Freund Canyon in Leavenworth. In those two spots, you’ll experience mountain biking at its best. And while you’re at it, be sure to take in the amazing views most of the trails have to offer.

What follows is just a taste of what the Wenatchee Valley has to offer in terms of mountain biking. Please note that these descriptions are meant to serve as an introduction, not as a super-detailed guide.
